Cowboys' highscoring offense overpowered the Giants in their season opener and the Cowboys have not stopped. I like the Giants but no way they are going to win.
This game should come down to the pass rush and who can escape it better and find receivers while on the run. Romo has been doing his best Favre impersonation all year and the Giants are going to find it tough to bring him down. Sure, they lead the league with 28 sacks, but 12 of those came in that one game against the legless wonder, Donovan McNabb. Eli has been doing well this year and Burress is a human marvel with 8 TDs so far in 8 games, even though his bum ankle has been mostly keeping him out of practice. Nice job, that would be. A couple extra plays downfield gives the Cowboys a road win.
This game was a lot closer than many people remember it being at the beginning of the season. Remember, the Boys weren't going to cover, but then they decided to throw deep on a sure thing running situation and Romo found Crayton for a deep score. However, the Giants aren't as good as people insist. Look at any film of their last 6 games, that isn't a team with any killer instinct whatsoever. They can be up on someone, and regardless of how crappy that team is, there will be a chance for them to come back. That's why, no matter what, I don't see Dallas losing this game. Even if they're down late, the Giants will give them a chance to roll back into the lead.
I never know what to think about Eli, but he sure ain't cute. He does not look smart enough to lead an NFL offense, but, I don't believe in judging books by their cover. He plays smart, at least most of this year, and that is what will help the Giants win this game...and that killer defense, of course:-)
