Should be a good one. I have been waiting for this game for a few weeks. I'm picking Steelers by 12 points. All there wins this year have been by 10 points or more I believe. I'm putting my money on Willie Parker. He needs a good game tonight for the Steelers to take the win at Heinz Field.
Steelers came off a tough loss to Denver two weeks ago, from a tough call (down on contact vs fumble vs no control of ball). field goal won it. usually the steelers are extra hungry after a tough loss like that - at least 3 wins in a row. Great running game and throwing is good. tough offensive line - among the best. No mercy for three games, psychologically after that tough loss. Plus this is Monday Night Football. dont remember the last time the Steelers lost on Monday Night.
Looks like the weather in Pitt will keep this a ground affair. Rain, wind, chilly. Good thing for these two teams, who suck butt when passing at all. It should keep things close, as they are both good at stopping the run.
You could very well be right, Kirk, and I have lowered my expectations for the Ravens; now taking them by 2 as oppossed to six. But still, until the Steelers show me they know how to play the Ravens, I can't take 'em, even at home, regardless of their records right now.
Blake are you kidding!!! Steelers lead the AFC north. They have scored 184 points in seven games to the Ravens 124 points. The defense has given up 91 points to the Ravens 119 points... The Steelers are 2-0 in their division while the Ravens are 0-2.. This is going to be a win for the Steelers.
Steelers! Steelers!! I wanted to give Pittsburgh 10 points in this game but I'm thinking that's a bit too optimistic. MNF is going to be a good one...woo hoo!
Yup, I think the Ravens can win. Like U-no-me says, the Ravens have beaten the Steelers badly in their last two meetings. We're talking outscoring them 58-7! Sometimes one team has another team's number, and I think Baltimore has Pittsburgh's. They have actually won the past four against the Steelers over the past two years. That is no fluke. As long as Ray Lewis can shut his trap long enough to play a game the way he can, Ravens will prevail. This should be a low-scoring affair. I call 16-10 Ravens.
Basking in the spotlight as this week’s Monday Night game, the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers promises to deliver plenty of action. The Ravens will be coming off a much-needed bye and will have a healthier roster with which to pit against a win-hungry Steelers team. The Steelers want to take the AFC North Division Championship crown away from the Ravens and in all likelihood that will happen (the Ravens have struggled somewhat on the road this season). The Steelers hold a 13-9 edge in the all-time regular season series with the Ravens, but have lost the last two meetings….badly.

Steelers have a much better QB...the Ravens for years refuse to invest to acquire a good QB.
