I love manning and the colts, but this is the statement Belicheck has been waiting to make......... this is the BEST DEFENSE Manning has every faced... THIS is the best offense INDY has ever seen..... I wish Indy would win... but its just not to be

Pound Peyton –

God, I would love to see 5-6 sacks of that whining, smug, commercial-boy.

This game has been more over-hyped than any regular season game in history. Sure, it's two undefeated teams in Week 9 with a good developing rivalry - let's leave it at that. Colts will amass more rushing yards and own an edge controlling the clock. Call it an upset - Colts 24 Pats 20

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are the team to beat. Period. I love Peyton Manning, I really do, but at this stage in the game it's just not going to happen. They'll meet again and he'll prove everyone wrong.

Brady Bunches –

Patriots (8-0) at Colts (7-0): “The Perfect Storm”. That’s what they’re calling this one, folks. If you only watch one NFL game this season the Patriots-Colts matchup is one not to be missed. Tom Brady and Peyton Manning each have 67 regular season wins [since 2002]. So who do I think will win? The Patriots. I’m a huge Manning fan but Tom Brady is too hot right now. He’s already set a career-high record with 30 touchdown passes and is on course to set yet another franchise and NFL record -- possibly pass Peyton Manning’s record for most TD throws in a single season. Manning’s numbers are equally impressive and he’s probably got the last laugh anyway because he’s got the fatter wallet. Still, I’m going to give this one to Brady and his bunch.

blah blah blah the Patriots. Lester is correct. Colts are a good team, but the Patriots are the best team. No denying it no matter what you think of them.

Not to be Patriotic, but...  –

This New England team is just too good. If any of you have followed my articles over the last 3 seasons, you'll know that I've done my best to pick against the Patriots and list them as an overrated shadow of their former selves - yeah, that hasn't worked out all that well, and this season, I don't know how they could be overrated - they are the best team in the league. Not only that, but they are the best team in a long, long, time. This game could be close, and I'm taking the Pats by a field goal just in case, but I think the Pats win by a touchdown.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have a strong feeling that the Colts are going to stun the Patriots. This is the game they been preparing for during the last 8 weeks.

My Boy –

Tom is hot, in every way. He'll beat these defending champs like a rented mule and show who should have won that Super Bowl last year. Peyton's place, or not, this day will belong to New England, again.

Even if the Pats put some dozens of photo shooter snipers all around the stadium, they will still be beaten by the Colts. Remember what Payton Manning thinks in a second it happens in the other...

........D-DAY IN THE NFL...... –

Man for man...no team measures up to the entire Patriot TEAM...Patriots on a mission since the JETS game, and it shows ever so clearly from Coach Belichick all the way down to the latest recruit RB: Karl Eckel [Navy].

Blake, Colts will still be a power house in week 9 –

I really don't think, even with my limited crystal ball, that the Patriots will beat the Colts.

Barring Injury - –

The Pats will be lucky to come into the Week Nine game undefeated. To do so, they will have to win two big road games, in Cincinnati and Dallas. It is possible, however, especially in light of the trouncing they put upon the Chargers in Week Two. Whatever the records of these two teams come gameday, we will all be on the edge of our seats for what has the potential to be the regular season game-of-the-year. Considering the upgrades the Pats have made, and how they must now feel the need to prove to the world that they don't have to cheat to win - they just enjoy doing it - I see them once again turning the tiide on Indy and taking this one, possibly improving their record to 9-0 in the process. One thing that bodes well for NE in this game is the fact that they have a bye the next week. Teams coming up to a bye often play even harder than normal, it seems - as if they can leave more on the field, knowing that they will have an extra week of rest.
