Tampa Bay is undefeated at home this season... but the Jaguars are undefeated on the road.... so this will be a good game and i think the jags will win this.
This may come back to haunt me, but I'm rolling with the Jaguars here. I don't think Garrard's absence will hurt them as much as it did last week. In fact, I think the jags will run more, which is good for them.
Last Sunday, Tampa Bay had its highest rushing total since losing Williams, gaining 124 yards in a 23-16 loss to Detroit. Bucs QB Jeff Garcia will be looking to get in some decent down field strikes and Joey Galloway will likely be his wide receiver of choice. Bottom line for Tampa is that without David Garrard, the Jaguars aren’t much of a threat… they were a non-issue against Indianapolis last week and backup Quinn Gray didn’t really cut the mustard.
Jax backup QB Gray isn't good enough since QB Garrard is out with a sprained ankle injury...Tampa's QB Garcia will take management/control to insure a Tampa victory.
The Jaguars could be absent a key player or two. David Garrard could very well be out of this game, or at least gimpy enough to slow down their offensive attack. The Bucs could have just enough mustard to win this home-game in which they are the underdogs. These teams are very similar, except I think the Bucs have a little bit better Passing offense and defense, while Jacksonville is better on the running side of both. I like the Bucs to sneak out a close one at home.
