The Jags are missing too many starters to keep this one close. Stroud, Peterson and others are what made this D mean. Actually, the backups have filled in admirably, by any estimate, but they have yet to face a team like the Pats. Then again, who has, really, that is left...except the Cowboys, Giants, Chargers and Colts. What happened in those games, again?

35-17 – 

I know, I know...all the Pats haters out there have truly convinced themselves that it will be different this time. Hey, anything can happen, but I have strong doubts that Belichick will not have his team extremely prepared for Jacksonville. They might have to bring up Harrison to help with run supprt from the safety position, but that should still be OK. While the passing game has been efficient with Garrard at the helm, the Jags passing game still does not strike fear into the hearts of anyone. Beating the Steelers last week proved nothing except what I have been saying all along: Pittsburgh was a fraud this year.
