Close in the Cold – 

I think GB is probably the best team left in the NFC, but they might be a little rusty, and Favre has not fared so well in the cold as of late. Those old bones will be creaking on Sunnday and besides, I heard that Hasselbeck said that the Seahawks want the ball. And they are going to win. He said it, not me.

Damn Those Birds – 

They really made me open my eyes last week. That defense played very well, however, I don't see the Packers making the same errors as the Skins did. Man, that Trufant INT for a TD when Moss absolutely gave up on the play was horrible, and missing field goals on the road, too. Not to mention the fact that they did not even try to play football when they had possession down 10-0 with 47 seconds to go in the first half. I mean, if you are not going to try to score at every opportunity, especially on the road, in the playoffs, down by ten...well, you don't deserve to win the game. The Packers should play smarter ball, but I think this will be a tight, exciting game to watch. The weather should be somewhat cloudy with a chance of flurries and very, very cold, with little wind.

I wouldn't say that so fast, Seattle has lost 2 games in the last 8 games of the season (after holmgren said that they would be a passing team) and those 2 were after they had won the divison and the #3 seed in the playoffs.

...25 degrees cold and a fast dry track in Green Bay...so says the projected-weather report...Seattle is a lousy road team also...Farve's magic still works in meat-packing land.
