This was the Seahawks MO all year, after Holmgren decided to quit the run, they became unstoppable it wasn't until games meant nothing to Seattle that they actually lost in the second half of the season. I don't see them stopping any time soon, either.
That was an impressive defensive display by Seattle. They played a great game on that side of the ball. Nice work. I stand corrected. I think God still loves me; we made up:-)
I don't know how a team that can barely win the NFC West could be called that. If anything, they are the most overrated team in the NFC. You'll see what I mean today. And the weather should help the Skins if anything. They have a better running game and the rain should dampen the crowd enthusiasm and the noise, too. If Seattle wins, God hates me.
keep in mind the game is in seattle and they are calling for low 40's and plenty of rain. i'm bettin' the combination of the weather and home field will help escalate the 'hawks over the 'skins. and in vegas, seattle is picked by 3, just so you know.
Seattle is probably the most underrated team ever. They don't miss the playoffs and have arguably one of the best coaches.. well ever. It's funny that Washington would be favored in Seattle. I sure hope they aren't in Vegas, because Seattle is a very good team with the most underrated QB in the NFL today. If Shaun Alexander was actually playing football, I'd pick them by 10, but however, he's not.
The Skins have played with more heart in the past five games than Seattle probably has all year combined. That is what coming together in the face of adversity will do for you when you have a good coach who knows how to get players on the same page and motivated to fight for something. They have surprised me, but hats off to them. They should win a close one on the road.
Of course they have to be in the NFC West, where the crap teams all seem to reside right now. That's the only way this awful, boring Seahawks football team makes it anywhere in the NFL these days. I cringe at the thought of having to watch them one more time this season. At least we'll get to see them lose to the red-hot Redskins, provided Gibbs keeps playing Todd Collins at quarterback.
